PRJGENUI Workforce began on a painting and decorating project in the South East. We watched contractors ring round agencies on a Friday afternoon and hope somebody would turn up on Monday. We thought there had to be a better way of doing it.
Most recruitment stops at finding someone who's free. Before a contractor lets a worker on site, they need to know a good deal more than that.
Every agency we looked at works the same way. They take a job order, ring round a list and send whoever is free. Cards get a quick look. Nobody keeps a record of who turned up last time, and the people sent to a site have usually never worked together. We couldn't find one agency with a reliability score built from real jobs.
We check every card with the body that issued it. Each worker carries a Workforce Passport that stays with them when they move on. Their Trust Score comes from five things we can check: verification, competence, compliance, reliability and client feedback. And if someone doesn't turn up, we start looking for a replacement within 60 minutes.
Nobody with an expired card or lapsed training gets sent to a site. We check that before we do anything else.
Every job a worker does, or doesn't turn up for, goes on their record. The Trust Score gets more accurate over time and it belongs to the worker.
Wherever we can, we send a team that has worked together before rather than people meeting for the first time on your site.
If we haven't started looking for a replacement within 60 minutes of a confirmed no-show, we waive that day's supply charge. It's in our terms.
Every check is made with the body that issued the card or certificate. We only list what we hold or are in the process of getting.
